From the 9^th January 2018 the course The Religious Traditions. History, Identity, Social Experiences take place, organized by the ISCOM Association, with the collaboration of the Pontifical Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies and the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.

The course intends to supply “a basic information on the structure of the main religious traditions that – as such – form the foundation of the different cultures, influencing the social formations, hierarchical structures, and political and economic lives of different countries”, explains the organizers.

A session of a two and half hours is scheduled every Tuesday, from January 9 to March 6, 2018, with the professors and experts of Christianity, Hebraism, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism.

The School of Philosophy has awarded the 2017 edition of the International Philosophy Award "Antonio Jannone" to prof. Alejandro Vigo of the Universidad de Navarra.

Known scholar of Aristotle's thought and author of numerous books and articles, prof. Vigo received the Prize on 27 November 2017, as part of the academic celebration of the feast of St. Catherine of Alexandria, patron of the school.

For the occasion he gave a lecture on Physics in Aristotelian thought.
