The Apostolikì Diakonia of the Greek Orthodox Church, as part of the cultural initiatives promoted jointly with the Catholic Cultural Committee, offers 22 scholarships to Catholic students, clergy, or seminarians, to participate in a summer program in Athens aimed at learning Modern Greek and gaining knowledge of the culture and spirituality of the Greek Orthodox world.
The program will begin on July 7, 2025, and conclude on August 2, 2025. It includes a beginner-level Modern Greek course, specifically designed for the scholarship students, as well as some visits to provide an introduction to the Orthodox world.
The scholarship covers the costs of course registration, organized visits, meals, and accommodation at the Theological College of Apostolikì Diakonia in Athens. It does not cover travel expenses to and from Athens.
